queering space, co-taught with Lena Kouvela (Parsons, 2019)

Lena and Will developed and taught ‘Queering Space’, a new course at Parsons. The course brought queer theory and other outside perspectives to design disciplines. Student work consisted of a series of performative projects meant to disrupt normative space. The class’s final project was to design and build a float for the World Pride March. Its goal was to disrupt the corporatization of Pride.
